Openbill Stork

I was sat in a small motorboat, on a river full of cantankerous Hippos, snapping Crocodiles and rumbling Elephants on the riverbanks, when i was told that the engine had died. Henry, our captain, had called for a replacement to be delivered by boat, so we dropped anchor in the middle of the river and waited. whilst the stationary boat was quietly rocking, i noticed the birds around us and decided that it would be a good time to hone my skills at photographing birds in flight. not an easy task, as a memory card brimming with blurry photographs can attest to, but i really enjoy the feeling of being alongside the stork in this image.
